GREEN INITIATIVES

Sree Godavari Papers have always been frontrunners in creating products entirely out of recycled materials. Our company has always lead the curve on an ongoing trend, the widespread effort to “go green.”

 

Sustainable practices and eco-friendly operations are quickly becoming the standard in every industry.

 

The Sree Godavari Kraft Papers Solar power plant, Ananthapur is an initiative that substitutes 40% of our factory’s energy consumption with zero-emission practices. Our newly commissioned 3MW solar plant at Kadaluru village in A.P realizes the company’s commitment to innovative processes that cause zero harm to the environment.

Our organization’s holistic approach to sustainable practices include

  • Use of recycled wastewater

  • A scientific approach to logistics (Cutting down travel and wait times, resulting in lower diesel consumption)

  • Use of recycled paper to produce our entire product portfolio

  • Efficient water and waste treatment processes

  • Installing energy-efficient LED lighting and VFD's for all major electrical motors
